Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license required

Certifications:

BLS from AHA required Must-Have:

- 24 months of current operating room experience
- Circulating and operating room experience required
- Experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases required
- Additional experience in Client, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, and ENT preferred

- Experience with EPIC electronic medical systems within the previous 3 years required
- Trauma Level I experience preferred;
Level II experience required
- No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months

Description:

Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Local radius rule is 50 miles. Holiday assignments may be required. The contractor is required to work 1-2 of the upcoming holidays unless the unit is closed. Patient types will be shared based on submission requirements. The unit has a bed size of 16 with an average caseload of 35-50 cases per day. Expectations for turnovers are less than 20 minutes.

Special equipment includes 3 Davinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro navigation. Stryker and Synthes are used primarily for orthopedics. Scrubs will be provided. Call for weekends is from the end of shift on Friday until 6:30 AM on Monday. Traveler will be required to float across different campuses. This position includes both scrub and circulate responsibilities.
