Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical
The Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring hospitalization for medical or surgical conditions. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes through skilled patient assessments and interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical status.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid and current Registered Nurse license.
- Have at least 1-2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced hospital environments.
