RN Nurse, Surgical Assistant, Operating Room Nurse
Operating Room Nurse
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The Operating Room Nurse will provide care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. They will need to demonstrate strong clinical skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The average caseload includes 35-50 cases per day with expectations for turnovers under 20 minutes. The unit has 16 operating rooms, and the nurse may be required to float across different campuses.
Candidates should have experience with various surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic (primarily trauma), robotics, gynecology, urology, general, pediatrics, and transplants. Experience with advanced surgical technology, including Da Vinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro-navigation, is preferred. The nurse will be required to participate in holiday rotations.
