Employee Separation Policy:
Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

NBO: 16 hrs

EMR: EPIC

OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier

Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

On Call: ***/hr

Charge/Precept: ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses;

• Bed Size: 24 - 26
• Ratio: 1:4-6 on days; 1:5-6 on nights
• Patient Types: general, gyn, breast, abdominal, flaps, ENT
• Drips/Titrates: heparin
• Scrub color: navy blue, tops and bottoms, solids

• 24 months of MS/Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting [required]
• Patient care experience in the following areas; general, gyn, breast [required]
• Patient care experience in the following areas; abdominal, flaps, ENT [required]
• No 1st time travelers, must have completed a travel contract in the past 24 months [required]
• Heparin experience [required]
• EPIC emr/electronic medical experience - [required]
• Recent/current Level I trauma experience [preferred]
• Recent/current Level II trauma experience [required]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current MS/Medical Surgical/Med Surg experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Medical Surgical, Medical Surgical/Telemetry) – [required]
• Nurses must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission – [required] [document]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
