Telemetry Nurse

Provides specialized telemetry nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, ensuring their clinical needs are met with precision and compassion. Serves as a critical member of the healthcare team to promote patient safety and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms to detect abnormalities promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and their families about telemetry processes and health management.
• Document patient status, nursing interventions, and responses accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile, safe environment for patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license with applicable state certification.
• Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be proficient in cardiac monitoring, interpretation, and emergency response.
• Display excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
