Telemetry Registered Nurse

The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The role involves evaluating patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret patient cardiac rhythms using telemetry technology.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assess patient status regularly and document findings accurately.
• Respond swiftly to cardiac emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current and valid RN license.
• Have prior experience working in a telemetry nursing environment.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as required by the schedule.
