Telemetry Registered Nurse

The registered nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient safety. This role requires a detailed understanding of cardiac monitoring and patient assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and interpret telemetry data to identify abnormal rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and notify appropriate medical staff.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least one year of telemetry nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong communication and critical thinking skills.
