Description:

Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility. Employees cannot work travel in another market if they have been separated from their previous employment with the organization for less than 12 months. Travelers must float across all campuses. The unit requires 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays to be worked unless the unit is closed.

Patient ratios in the OR are 1:1. The unit has 16 operating rooms and runs 12-14 routinely. As a Level 1 trauma center, space is reserved for trauma cases. Expected average caseload is 35-50 cases per day, with turnover expectations of less than 20 minutes. Special equipment includes 3 Davinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro navigation. Experience in the following service lines is required: cardiac, neurology, ortho (primarily trauma), robotics, gynecological, urological, general, pediatrics, and transplants.

All candidates must be able to scrub and circulate. On-call requirements are from the end of the shift on Friday until 6:30 AM Monday, with duties including weekend calls. Professional references must be from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, or director within the last 24 months.
