Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborns. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes during childbirth.

Responsibilities:

• Assess obstetric patients and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals continuously.
• Administer medications and perform procedures according to clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Document all clinical interventions accurately in patient records.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure and valid certification in maternity nursing.
• Proven experience in labor and delivery or obstetric nursing.
• Strong skills in fetal monitoring and obstetric procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• BLS and NRP certifications required.
