Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional care during all phases of childbirth. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their birthing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health to identify any complications early.
• Prepare and assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, protocols, and infection control measures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Proven experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
• Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine and obstetric procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress situations.
• CPR or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
