What You’ll DoAs a Weekend RN, you'll provide skilled nursing services to clients in their homes throughout the Des Moines metro area. Depending on client needs, visits may include:
- Skilled nursing assessments and visits
- Medication setup and management
- Infusions and injections
- Wound care
- G-tube and tracheostomy care
- Catheter and ostomy changes
- New client admissions and assessments
- Plan of care development and updates
- Patient and family education
- Coordination with physicians and other members of the care team
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently in a home-care environment
- Dependable, professional and organized
- Reliable transportation
- Availability for weekend assignments
