REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Associate degree or higher
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (IA) or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Regular Driver License (DL)
- Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
This leadership role provides the opportunity to oversee and elevate Women's and Newborn Services across multiple campuses
. The Director will lead clinical and administrative teams, manage budgets, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance patient care, operational performance, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, innovative leader who champions patient‑and family‑centered care, fosters a culture of safety, and advances excellence in clinical practice.
Lead administrative and operational functions for Women's & Newborn Services across multiple campuses, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy
Develop, manage, and monitor budgets to ensure effective use of financial resources
Drive strategic planning and cultivate partnerships to advance service line priorities
Oversee clinical operations, standards of care, and continuous process improvement
Serve as administrative leader and liaison for physicians and physician activities
Allocate human, material, and financial resources to meet service line needs
Collaborate with leaders to optimize patient flow and coordinate care across departments
Ensure compliance with specialty designation requirements and regulatory standards
Use evidence, quality metrics, and outcomes data to guide operational changes
Identify growth opportunities and lead new program development
Champion patient‑and family‑centered care, setting expectations for quality, service, and cost stewardship
Lead department leaders by setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and development
Promote a culture of safety and support a Just Culture environment
Demonstrate innovation in care delivery, coordination, and service line advancement
Participate in initiatives to elevate professional nursing practice and nurse engagement
Support the professional nurse practice model and shared governance structures

Full‑time leadership schedule
Pay Transparency Compensation varies based on location, experience, and performance. Some sites require disclosure of pay and benefits. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives depending on business needs.

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $60.00.
