American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift telemetry unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience and an IA or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification may be required depending on unit needs
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Work on a 9 South Telemetry unit
- Care for post-procedural patients staying 1-3 nights after surgery
- Also cares for cath lab patients and occasional ER overflow
- Night shift schedule 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Unit is not open on Saturdays or Sundays
- Holidays assessed individually based on surgical volume and may require working
- Provide telemetry-based nursing care to post-surgical, cath lab, and overflow patients
- Radius rule of 60 miles applies for most Trinity Health locations
- Local candidates accepted only in select states with facility-specific exceptions
