American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 26-week resource pool contract requiring an active IA or compact RN license and float availability across multiple units.

• Resource Pool position within a hospital setting requiring float coverage to multiple units
• Units include Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
• May be required to float to the West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles from the downtown campus
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• Every other holiday coverage required
• 26-week assignment length

• Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required for all direct patient care personnel
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification required for RNs working in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, or SICU
• TNCC certification required
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start, including NURSYS verification for RNs

• Provide direct patient care across multiple med-surg specialty units on a rotating float basis
• Radius rule of 90 miles applies for candidate eligibility
• Local candidates are not accepted for this facility
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
