• Shift: Nights – 3x12s, 36 hrs/week
• Weekend: Every 4th weekend
• Holiday: Holiday rotation; contractor must work 1–2 Winter Holidays
• EMR: Epic — experience within the last 12 months required
• Experience:
  • 24 months Pediatric/Pediatric ER experience required
  • Pediatric experience within the last 24 months required
  • Pediatric ER experience within the last 15 months
  • No first-time travelers — must have completed at least 1 travel contract within the last 18 months
• Floating: May float across NICU, B3 General Floor, and PICU
• Unit: 12-bed pediatric unit caring for Peds Hem/Onc, Med-Surg, and all pediatric specialties
• Ratios: 1:4
• Certifications required:
  • BLS – AHA/ARC
  • PALS – AHA
  • TNCC
  • ACLS – AHA is also listed in the certification section
• Radius Rule: No locals — candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license
• De-escalation certification: Nice to have
• Interviewing: Quickly interviewing viable candidates; phone call/text from a 405 area code
• Important: Previous UPH FTE/PRN employees are restricted from taking travel assignments in another UPH market under the separation policy.
