American Traveler is hiring a Pediatrics RN for a night shift position requiring compact or IA license, EPIC experience, and pediatric floating capabilities.

• Pediatrics B3-Meth unit caring for Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg, and all pediatric specialties
• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 on a 23-bed unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• On-call only during scheduled shifts for low census situations
• Float across ED boarders, PICU, NICU, and Peds Onc/Hem as needed
• Uses EPIC electronic medical records system

• Active IA or compact/multistate RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• PALS certification (AHA) required
• Pediatric nursing experience within the previous 18 months required
• Minimum 12 months of pediatric experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the previous 12 months required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge nurse, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months preferred

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients across multiple specialties including hematology/oncology
• Float to NICU, PICU, Peds ED, and other pediatric units as census needs require
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers welcome to apply, provided they have at least 12 months of pediatric experience
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are subject to separation policy restrictions for travel assignments in other markets
