Our manufacturing client in West Des Moines is looking for a Materials Coordinator!
This position will be responsible for assisting with account management, processing materials, and logistics support.
Pay: $22-26/hour DOE
Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Job Duties:Work with sales team to build and support existing customer base.
- Perform daily maintenance of customer accounts and orders.
- Identify customer needs, resolve issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Facilitate site tours for customers.
Work with office team to manage customer orders from start to finish.
- Enter, manage, and track customer orders.
- Generate BOLs and other required shipping documents.
- Communicate order status updates and changes with customers.
Work with warehouse team to manage orders, materials, and ensure product quality.
- Prepare quotes for new products and materials.
- Order, organize, and maintain parts inventory.
- Generate Bills of Materials for customers.
- 2-3 years’ experience with purchasing and/or parts processing AND 1-3 years’ experience with sales and customer service.
- Computer proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry
- 2-4 year degree in relevant field
