On-Site Quality Assurance Technician
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all finished products and components meet specified parameters by utilizing lab equipment. You will conduct multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing functions, and be responsible for setting up and calibrating HPLC and GC testing equipment. Documenting batch testing results and reporting quality results to supervisors are key components of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize lab equipment to test finished products and components for compliance with specified parameters.
- Perform process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing.
- Set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment.
- Document and input batch testing results into specified systems.
- Report quality results to supervisors and managers.
- Conduct physical property testing using instrumentation.
- Provide independent oversight of lab processes to verify compliance with company standards and policies.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE HPLC OR GC EXPERIENCE!
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field is highly preferred.
- Alternatively, 2+ years of experience in a production or quality lab setting.
- A High School diploma is required.
Work Environment:
The position is based in a manufacturing/plant setting with a dynamic lab environment. The role involves working on the 2nd shift, with start times varying between 2 PM and 4 PM, and end times between 10:30 PM and 12:30 AM, depending on the production schedule. Some Saturday coverage may be required during peak seasons from March to May. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals, and outdoor weather while moving between buildings.
Strong communication skills are essential, and candidates must be adaptable and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, frequent use of hands, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. A company-provided navy jumpsuit uniform and closed-toe shoes are required.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
