Qualifications

* Must be a college student, sophomore or higher standing, currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in business, real estate, finance or engineering.

* Must be able to work fulltime hours May-August 2026.

* Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record. Some travel may be required.

Primary

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Support the right of way agents, project engineers, project developers, analysts, and directors for the research, planning, evaluation, budgeting, land acquisition, design and construction of new projects.

* Supports the review of right of way documents, permits and title information.

* Supports land and easement acquisition efforts for various Mid American projects.

* Supports the updating of company real estate records and databases.

* Supports the due diligence process for project acquisition and/or development, and construction by properly identifying the risks and benefits of potential projects, including identifying the resource, environmental, real estate, permitting and construction risks and costs.

* Prepares and maintains department reports, presentations, project schedules and plans.

* Data analysis and entry.

* Support community outreach and mailings.

* Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
