Working alongside laboratory leaders, scientists, engineers, and data analysts, you will explore how emerging technologies—including imaging, sensors, automation, and machine learning—can support the evaluation of seed viability, vigor, and purity.
What You Will Do Experimental design and innovation:
Support the design, planning, execution, and documentation of experiments that evaluate seed quality using emerging technologies.
Data analysis and interpretation:
Organize and analyze data from imaging systems, sensors, and other diagnostic platforms to identify patterns related to seed health and quality.
Machine-learning support:
Assist with preparing data, testing approaches, and evaluating results for machine-learning or automated seed-classification use cases under the guidance of technical experts.
Cross-functional collaboration:
Work with quality-testing laboratory leaders, scientists, engineers, and data analysts to prototype and evaluate new tools, methods, and workflows.
Documentation and quality:
Maintain clear experimental records, follow established laboratory and data-quality procedures, and communicate risks, findings, and next steps.
Project presentation:
Present project findings and recommendations to the Global Seed Operations Quality team and other business partners.
