We are seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading the Either/Or kitchen and ensuring smooth, high-quality daily operations. This hands‑on role focuses on executing the company’s vision while maintaining food quality, consistency, and safety. You will oversee back‑of‑house staff, provide training and mentorship, and ensure prep and production tasks are completed efficiently. The Sous Chef assists in developing seasonal menus and weekly specials, while also assisting with all private and public events.
You will monitor inventory, assist with receiving, and maintain order guides. Acting as shift leader in the Head Chef’s absence, you will maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational flow throughout the kitchen. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a proactive approach to coaching staff and fostering a positive back‑of‑house culture.
- Starting salary negotiable and varies based on experience: 50-55K
