At Hall Mar Village, find purpose and passion in your work with a team of like-minded people focused on enriching the lives of older adults. Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is looking for a 2nd shift cook (including every other weekend and holiday rotation) to join our culinary team.
Hall Mar Village is a joint ministry of Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes & Services. This senior living community offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartment homes as well as long term care suites.
ResponsibilitiesThe Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.
Qualifications- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Knowledge of state and federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
Full‑time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week.
