• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring team members stay current on training.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to select qualified team members.
• Ensure telephone inquiries are answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Utilize the electronic outside purchase order ledger to handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue refunds using the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise correctly.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members comply with company policies, adhere to posted work schedules, and have deviations approved by management; ensure proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money/deposits handling per policy, prepare bank deposits, secure premises, and manage security systems and delivery vehicle(s).
• Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification;
  Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
