On Premise Salesperson Job Description Job Summary
The primary focus is to gain and develop new business and relationships at restaurants, bars, cafes, and coffee shops with company-distributed brands. Traditional sales techniques such as cold calling, product sampling/demos, and in-person meetings are required, but new and innovative sales techniques are highly welcomed. Barista experience is preferred but not required.

Essential Job Functions- Understand and promote the company's marketing strategies for all product packages and categories.
- Promote products in accounts in line with these strategies.
- Solicit promotions tied to pricing, ads, and displays.
- Maintain knowledge of beer styles and inventory.
- Regularly call on all assigned customers and inform your route manager when deviating from the set schedule.
- Get to know all assigned retailers and their key employees by first names.
- Maintain product knowledge and maximize distribution of flagship products.
- Seek ads, displays, and reduced prices for products on promotion and ensure all coolers/beb..sections are set to maximize sales for all products.
- Obtain best-selling position in accounts.
- Solicit secondary displays and marketing equipment placements.
- Actively pursue and solicit new accounts.
- Gather, monitor, and report competitive information.
- Strive to meet goals and quotas in accordance with KOIs, Model Store, and other company programs.
- Must have reliable and regular attendance.
- Fill coolers and vendors. Make minor repairs when needed on visa-coolers/vendors.
- Set coolers in accordance with Model Store diagrams.
- Maintain primary and secondary displays.
- Rotate products and maintain P.Q.I. standards.
- Ensure out-of-date product is appropriately handled.
- Minimize out-of-stock and over-stock conditions.
- Keep back stock neat and organized.
- Carry sufficient POS and update when needed.
- Keep shelves and vendors clean.
- Report in clean and neat uniform.
- Be available and capable of performing physical functions, including lifting and moving loads of 65 lbs. or more continuously and pulling cart loads of product weighing up to 2500 lbs.
- Check out accurately in the morning and leave promptly.
- Maintain complete and accurate records.
- Report all load errors as soon as discovered.
- Responsible for assuring all product deliveries are properly invoiced and know all handheld functions.
- At the end of the day check in and settle correctly.
- Assist A/R by collecting monthly rent and receivables as required.
- Turn in Sales Reports and Non-serviced Customer Reports to Supervisor daily.
- Report any draft lines that need to be cleaned to Supervisor.
