As part of AT&T’s B2B Sales Development Program, you’ll join a world-class team shaping the future of business connectivity. Leverage your sales techniques, uncover leads, and spark innovation in areas like fiber, wireless, cloud, IoT, and cybersecurity.
With each deal, you’ll support our vision to lead the industry in connectivity, technology and community.
- Learning hub:
Start your journey at the AT&T Discovery District in Dallas, TX, gaining deep insights into cutting-edge sales strategies and solutions. - Comprehensive training:
Participate in a paid, 4-month program featuring instructor-led training and immersive learning experiences designed to sharpen sales skills and prepare for quota-bearing roles. - Lead-to-Close Sales:
Actively hunt for new business within your assigned territory through external networks and cold calling, meeting or exceeding weekly quotas for cold calls and door knocks. - Client Engagement:
Understand the communications and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers. Present tailored growth opportunities and efficiencies to current and potential clients. - Consultative Selling:
Use consultative techniques to overcome objections, identify trends, uncover customer needs, and close opportunities. - Proposal Development:
Present products and services that benefit customers. - Technology utilization:
Leverage industry-leading technology to deliver results and drive customer success in your assigned market.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; must have graduated within the last 3 years.
- Sales-related experience or degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Relocation flexibility:
Willingness and ability to relocate within the U.S. as needed.
- Career ambition:
Strong desire to launch and grow a career in sales. - Sales experience:
Preference for experience in cold calling and meeting/exceeding sales targets. - Hunter mindset:

- Monthly Stipend: $1,000 monthly stipend throughout the 4-month program.
- Graduation Bonus: $2,000 upon program completion.
- Relocation Bonuses:
Potential relocation bonuses may be available in certain circumstances. - Placement & Career Opportunities:
Upon completion, placement in an outside sales role within AT&T Business, aligned with geographic preference where possible; final placement depends on market availability.
- In Program Months 1 & 2:
Base salary of $57,000 during foundational training. - In Program Months 3 & 4:
Base salary of $48,300 plus commissions up to $17,000 annually; total potential for these months is $65,300.
- Transition to the Northwest Market city (Des Moines, IA or Denver, CO) with AT&T Territory sales team; region is guaranteed but city depends on business needs.
- Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. At 100% of sales target, annual earnings typically range from $93,300 to $117,500; commissions are capped at 500% of target, with potential to earn $225,000+ for high achievers.
