Transplant Key Account Manager - Chicago, Detroit, Madison - 3094983 Overview
Transplant Oncology/Hematology Key Account Manager role focused on educating and selling a transplant therapeutic within a national team, establishing trusted relationships with customers, and conveying complex clinical, access, and reimbursement information to drive patient access and product adoption. This position involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure the company’s services are available as appropriate in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Educate and sell a new transplant therapeutic within the assigned territory as part of a national team.
- Convey complex clinical, access & reimbursement information to customers and key stakeholders to enable appropriate patient access.
- Establish relationships of trust with customers and probes to uncover needs, developing solutions within the company framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to ensure the full suite of services is made available as appropriate.
- Travel as required to support customers and opportunities (minimum travel expectations may apply).
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school required.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in the Transplant or Hematology/Oncology market, preferably selling in hematology.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives.
- Proven ability to communicate clinical messages with customers.
- High learning agility in support of multiple brands.
- Experience working and collaborating in an account team environment.
- Knowledge of the reimbursement and fulfillment pathway for specialty products.
- Ability to examine business environment, interpret territory analytics, and drive sales results.
- Strong account management and customer service-focused selling skills.
- Opportunistic, driven, and able to navigate in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 50% overnight within the continental US.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive.
- Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Effective presentation skills across multiple channels (face to face, phone, virtual).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills and business acumen; demonstrated problem solving.
- Strong cross-functional teamwork skills.
- A valid driver’s license issued in one of the United States is required.

Additional Job DetailsThe potential base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $210,000 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary based on job-related qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives, bonuses, and other compensation components may be offered in addition to benefits.
