- Promote and educate physicians on the use of pharmaceutical products through one‑on‑one meetings, group presentations, and company‑approved promotional speaker programs.
- Work in the field during the day as needed for call planning, customer follow‑up, preparing presentations, making appointments, report generation, and related activities.
- Achieve territory sales goals by meeting call plan expectations and attaining product sales targets while adhering to APUS‑defined ethical sales practices, compliance guidelines, and promotional regulations.
- Execute company‑approved product marketing plans and territory/regional business plan activities.
- Support targeted customers using approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities as identified by Sales Management.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across franchises and co‑promotion alliance partners, and maintain all company equipment and promotional materials in accordance with compliance guidelines.
- Implement territory sales strategy using the annual territory business plan, regional business plan, and call activity reports.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadlines set by the Regional Sales Manager.
- This position is a physician‑customer‑facing pharmaceutical sales representative.
- Reports to a National Sales Manager.
- Manages a territory responsible for several pharmaceutical products.
- Assumes a lead role within primary care and specialty counterpart relationships.
- Balances territory and regional work and projects, maintaining solid sales performance.
- Exhibits strong competencies in sales influence and regional interaction.
- Some sales experience or transferable sales abilities.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, can take ownership of situations.
- Analytical, problem‑solving ability, business acumen.
- Solid motivational and persuasion skills.
- Team orientation.
- Proven record of sustained high sales performance.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
