What Drives SuccessThis Territory Manager develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and services.
Duties- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sale and service agreements.
- Ensure high post‑sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long‑term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
- Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
- Focus on local market accounts and prospects, and may be responsible for a limited number of key or named accounts.
- Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Strong abilities in building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for selling services, including marketing strategy, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, including needs assessment, quality standard meeting, and customer satisfaction evaluation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
- HVAC industry experience preferred.
Compensation
:
The total compensation range for this position is $92,000 to $115,000, based on qualifications, experience, and education. Target compensation is 65% base salary and 35% commission, with new hires guaranteed at least the target commission for six months. An uncapped bonus structure is based on exceeding 100% of the plan.
