• Aggressively strive to maximize all sales opportunities of brands, packages and available promotional allowances.
• Expected to achieve sales results (Sales Objectives, Volume Plan, Distribution Goals and Monthly Business Objectives) that meet or exceed Company averages for all domestic, specialty and import suppliers.
• Establish and implement effective daily and weekly pre-plans that will ensure KEG 1 standards are met in the market.
• Develop working relationship with decision makers in all assigned accounts by instituting a defined sales call schedule.
• Use the Retail Account Management Process to identify account‑specific opportunities, including but not limited to displays, permanent point of sale, merchandising, product placement and promotion.
• Maintain distribution at required levels set by supervisor for all suppliers and assigned core SKUs; participate in all monthly distribution initiatives.
• Constantly monitor beer department in all assigned accounts for opportunities to increase sales and distribution through point of sale, shelf space management and positioning (single tubs, coolers, hot shelves and storage facilities).
• Service all assigned accounts in a timely, thorough and professional manner, ensuring all required tasks are completed to Company standard.
• Keep all point of sale current in conjunction with each Supplier Marketing Plan; prioritize accounts from highest volume down to telsell accounts.
• Ensure product freshness at retail, understanding and complying with all Quality Assurance guidelines and policies of KEG 1 and its suppliers.
• Rotate product and hang permanent point of sale.
• Execute promotions at night and on weekends in on‑premise accounts when applicable.
• Utilize Pattern Control Selling Process to maximize selling opportunities; maintain a planner with current pricing and promotional information; keep sell sheets, monthly sales plan, alpha lists and other requisite information accurate.
• Act as a partner/consultant to the retailer; strive to grow business by adding value to the products sold.
• Follow established order transmission schedule to ensure efficient warehouse, delivery, sales and retail functions; submit accurate tracking forms and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Assume responsibilities, e.g., run route, in the absence of the regularly assigned Account Manager.
• Maintain open and clear communications with owners, managers and other employees of the Company.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures and local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  1 to 3 years of previous sales experience.
• Licensing:
  Valid Driver’s License.

To successfully perform the essential functions of the position, the employee must be able to:

• Occasionally sit, reach above, and lift 20–50 lbs; frequently stand, walk, drive, bend, and use hands for pushing/pulling/fine manipulation.
• Continuously lift 0–10 lbs, or 10–20 lbs as the job requires.
