Position OverviewProvide first line supervision to ensure individual sales representatives achieve assigned sales objectives and budgets.

- Implement and ensure compliance with advertising sales objectives
- Monitor sales representatives in all areas of their daily assignments
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a team of sales representatives into a cohesive unit to increase productivity and exceed minimum sales requirements
- Ensure sales representatives have a clear understanding of the marketplace, including demographic profiles, competitive media, strategies, and territorial growth potential
- Conduct performance reviews and take disciplinary action in conjunction with the Director of Operations
- Create and review quarterly and annual sales goals for account executives
- Travel as required
- Demonstrate and ensure compliance with all sales training programs
- Assist the Director of Operations in the development of budgets
- Require regular attendance to report to work per assigned work schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or equivalent experience required
- Five years media sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to motivate others and work under pressure
- Ability to keep abreast of competitive conditions
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
The salary range for this position is $85,000–$125,000 per year. At Mediacom, sales roles salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission). Base pay is one part of our total compensation package. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
