Its factory-trained Service Department, with over 180 years of combined experience, supports customers across Iowa and Nebraska with on-site and in-house maintenance and repairs.

A well-stocked Parts Department offers critical OEM and aftermarket parts with next-day delivery for many items, while a robust Rental Department provides more than 100 short- and long-term rental assets to keep operations running efficiently.

Role Description

The Territory Sales Representative is a full-time role based in Des Moines, IA. This position is responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within an assigned territory, focusing on material handling equipment, rentals, parts, and service solutions. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and cold calling, conducting on-site customer visits, preparing proposals and quotes, and following up to close sales. The role also involves collaborating with service, parts, and rental teams to ensure customer needs are met, tracking sales activities in a CRM, and providing regular territory performance reports.

The Territory Sales Representative will represent the company at industry events and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical products and solutions in clear, practical terms.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, including planning daily activities, managing a sales pipeline, and using CRM or similar tools.
  • Self-motivation, accountability, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer visits and site assessments.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors, occasionally in hot, cold, dusty, and/or potentially hazardous environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
