About the Role:The company is seeking a Technical Sales Representative responsible for promoting and selling an advanced liquid coating technology for granular fertilizers to industrial clients, fertilizer manufacturers, distributors, and large agricultural operations
.
This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales execution, focusing on building long-term partnerships, delivering technical value, and supporting large-scale commercial adoption of the product.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and sell the liquid coating technology to fertilizer manufacturers, industrial partners, cooperatives, and large distribution centers.
- Develop and manage strategic key accounts within Iowa, with future expansion into Illinois and South Dakota.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and performance evaluations.
- Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing recommendations on product application and operational optimization.
- Collaborate with R&D, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure successful product implementation.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development and commercial strategy.
- Support expansion of the commercial portfolio, including multifunctional adjuvants and foliar fertilizers.
- Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the agro-industrial sector.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within agriculture, fertilizers, chemicals, or industrial inputs.
- Strong technical understanding of fertilizers, crop nutrition, or related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Fluent English required;
Spanish or Portuguese is a plus. - Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Chemistry, or related field preferred.
