Under the direction of the District Manager, the incumbent will develop sales of gases, welding and safety in the assigned region by following sales leads, making presentations, preparing quotations, maintaining all required literature and providing customer follow-ups. The incumbent will also assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas health and safety guidelines. Develops and increases the end user customer base by effective communication, assessment of needs and recommendations of solutions.

Develops long-term supply relationships through contracts and/or agreements. Meets or exceeds rental and sales goals specified in the market area. Represents the company at trade association meetings and Trade Shows to promote products. Compiles lists of prospective customers for sales leads based on information from newspapers, business directories, trade journals and/or other sources. Maintains accurate and timely submission of sales call reports and expenses.

Provides customer follow-up. Identify and support customer needs by conducting thorough needs assessments with clients to gain insights into their specific requirements and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customized solutions that align with client needs and meet enterprise objectives. Conduct contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support long-term partnerships. Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue and market share.

Oversee account as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Leadership:
Must be able to guide and mentor associates. Must be able to delegate and follow-up effectively. Relationship Building:
Must be able to communicate effectively. Decision Making:
Must be able to work independently while making decisions based on company policies and objectives. Problem Solving:
Must be able to proactively and methodically deal with conflicting goals and challenging situations. Must have a valid Driver’s License Preferred Qualifications Post secondary education equivalent to a Diploma in Business Management or equivalent. 5 plus Years commercial experience
