The Environmental Scientist supports demolition, renovation, and abatement projects through site assessments, material sampling, reporting, and project oversight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on field investigations, construction site work, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from initial assessment and sampling to reporting and abatement oversight.

• Conduct fieldwork including site visits, inspections, monitoring, and data collection activities.
• Observe, document, and report environmental conditions, project activities, and compliance status.
• Support implementation and verification of environmental requirements, permits, and protection measures.
• Collect, manage, and maintain accurate field data, records, and project documentation.
• Working closely with Project Managers to assist clients with various services including ACM sampling, Indoor Air Quality Assessments, Microbial growth surveys, chemical exposure monitoring, chemical inventories, water sampling, commercial asset tagging, and building material testing
• Prepare routine reports, logs, and technical documentation to support project deliverables.
• Assist with research, data review, and analysis for environmental and regulatory projects.
• Support multiple projects concurrently, tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Utilize standard field equipment, technology, and software to support data collection and reporting.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
• Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures.

• Position will require 25% - 50% travel

• Perform fieldwork in varying conditions and operate standard field equipment.
• Proficiency with basic data collection tools, mapping systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in both field and office settings.
• Maintain attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Meet physical and safety requirements of field and/or site work, including use of PPE as needed.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors.

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 0-2 years of relevant environmental or related experience

• Familiarity with environmental regulations, compliance processes, or permitting requirements.
