We are seeking a dependable small maintenance contractor to support multiple childcare facilities in the Iowa region on a part-time or subcontract basis. Work includes general repairs, safety corrections, and small facility projects scheduled as needed.

Ideal for an independent facilities technician looking for consistent supplemental work across several locations.

• General building repairs and maintenance
• Minor plumbing and fixture repairs
• Basic electrical repairs within trade limits
• Drywall, patching, and painting touch-ups
• Doors, locks, and hardware repair
• Flooring and surface repairs
• Playground and safety-related fixes
• Small carpentry projects
• Licensing and inspection correction items

• 3+ years handyman or maintenance experience
• Own tools and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work independently
• Contractor registration and insurance preferred
• Experience in commercial or institutional buildings a plus
• Strong reliability and communication

• Must pass required state childcare background checks
• Must follow onsite child safety procedures
• Must comply with facility health and safety policies

• Part-time / as-needed
