MRL and Advanced Tower Services have immediate openings for Telecommunication Tower Foreman - Level 2 for someone seeking professional and personal growth while traveling throughout the US. This position requires relocation to our Cottage Grove, WI or Albuquerque, NM location within 60 to 120 days of employment. The Telecommunication Tower Foreman - Level 2 will manage and train field personnel to perform a wide variety of field-specific duties.
Travel is extensive, with 2–3 weeks in the field at a time; time off is backlogged after each deployment. Longer assignments may be available for greater pay. Tower Technicians must be able to climb heights over 500 feet, lift 50 lbs., and travel extensively out of state for extended periods, including overnight and weekends. Training and certifications are provided, along with base pay (including travel time), individual hotel rooms, and per diem for overnight work days.
All new employees will undergo full tower and rescue training prior to first deployment. There is significant overtime potential and room for advancement.

- High School Diploma Required; some college experience preferred
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and to analyze and solve problems
- Physical ability to climb towers in excess of 500 feet and lift 50+ lbs
- Willingness to travel extensively out of state and for extended periods (including weekends)
- Ability to obtain applicable tower climbing certifications
- Must be able to pass a company auto insurance requirement (e.g., good driving record; no DUI in last 5 years; limited traffic violations)
- Manage field staff and conduct on-site inspections/investigations, including survey and documentation of existing conditions, field testing, photography, and sketching
- Complete closeout documentation and organize field data
- Utilize excavation equipment to assist in on-site investigations
- Perform telecommunication tower inspections, including climbing towers over 500 ft
- Perform general repairs, maintenance, upgrades and re-fabrication to towers and structures as directed
- Pick up and deliver supplies, tools, equipment, and components via company vehicle
- Adhere to all Federal, State, and Local driving requirements and company policies
- Maintain safety procedures and quality standards
- Keep company vehicle clean and presentable
- Utilize resources and tools to complete work and communicate with field and management personnel
- Extensive travel (2–3 weeks away from base, 95% out of state, including weekends)
- Hourly wage: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour ($65,000 to $95,000 annually)
