This role is perfect for someone with hands‑on installation or construction experience who’s ready to step into leadership. If you’ve led crews before—even outside of furniture installation—you’ll find a clear path for growth with us.
What You’ll Do- Lead and mentor an installation crew, setting the tone for teamwork and accountability
- Manage installation of Miller Knoll and other commercial furniture product lines
- Review drawings/blueprints and ensure installs meet project standards
- Troubleshoot issues on site and keep projects moving smoothly
- Communicate daily with the project team, clients, and contractors in a professional, solutions‑focused way
- Train newer installers in Pigott’s standards and help build their skills
- Take ownership of job readiness, site preparation, and follow‑through to client sign‑off
- Experience leading crews in installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field
- Hands‑on skills with power tools, product assembly, and safe material handling
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, or blueprints
- Strong communication and leadership—able to direct a team and keep projects on track
- High school diploma or GED (minimum); 2–3 years of related installation experience preferred
- Willingness to work in a physical, fast‑moving environment (lifting up to 64 lbs, bending, kneeling, etc.)
