Luther Park Community has an immediate opening for an experienced Painter!

The main focus of this this position will be painting resident rooms, apartments, building walls and offices on our campus. The painter could possibly assist with some maintenance tasks by helping maintain buildings. Experience in painting is a must –training for other tasks will be provided as needed. This position will also be part of the after hour building on-call rotation.

Painting will be the first priority of this position and what this position will spend the majority of the time doing. The painter will respond to and complete work orders for painting ensuring quality of services to resident satisfaction and company standards. Will be responsible for maintaining the office, shop, storage and mechanical areas.

Other duties could include some of the following:

• Work needed to ready apartments for move-in
• General maintenance projects as assigned
• Installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment
• Carpentry work
• Equipment repair
• Snow removal
• Maintain safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment and achievement ofsafe working practices
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident careinformation
• Must be able to work under all types of weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, etc.)

• Experience as a painter
• High School diploma or GED
• Must read, write, speak and comprehend English
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record
• Able to take call on weekends and after hours on a rotating schedule
