Industrial Maintenance
Des Moines, IA 50317
Job DescriptionIndustrial Maintenance – Des Moines, IA Pay: $27.45/hr
Schedule:
Mon 4AM-4PM, Tues-Fri 7:30AM-4PM, Sun 4AM-12PM | 5 days/week | every 3rd weekend off
Responsibilities:
- Performs preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
- Performs machine repair and installation such as replacing motors, gear boxes, screw conveyors, threading piping, weld piping, repair/replace pumps and uses cutting torch
- Conducts daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment as needed
- Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous welding and industrial maintenance experience required
- Lift/Forklift experience required
- Ability work in a high odor environment
- Experience working in a slaughter/rendering plant preferred
