Senior HVAC​/R Service Tech

Cool Sys is seeking a Senior HVAC/R Service Tech to lead complex service, repair, and maintenance for commercial and industrial customers. In this field-based role, you'll troubleshoot advanced mechanical and refrigeration issues, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize systems for energy efficiency and reliability. You'll mentor junior techs, uphold strict safety and quality standards, and deliver excellent customer service while working with cutting-edge HVAC-R and energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and system optimization for energy efficiency
• Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot complex issues
• Lead complex installs, retrofits, and start-ups as needed
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and company policies
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations for customers
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior technicians
• Collaborate with dispatch, project managers, and customers to plan work
• Use advanced test equipment and controls to fine-tune system performance
