Pay: $30+/hour + Significant Overtime
Schedule: Typically 50-60+ hours/week while traveling

Tiello has partnered with a growing national mechanical insulation contractor in the search for experienced Mechanical Insulation Foremen to lead traveling field crews on large-scale industrial and commercial projects throughout the country.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone with strong mechanical insulation experience who enjoys running crews, training developing tradespeople, and working on major industrial projects.
What You'll Do- Lead mechanical insulation crews on active construction projects.
- Typically supervise crews of approximately 3–7 field employees.
- Coordinate daily manpower, materials, production, and work sequencing.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure insulation systems are installed safely, efficiently, and according to project standards.
- Train Apprentices and developing Mechanics in proper insulation installation techniques.
- Monitor field productivity and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and other trades.
- Identify field issues and communicate needs to project leadership.
- Maintain quality, safety, and production expectations across the crew.
- Travel extensively to project locations throughout the company's operating footprint.
- Direct mechanical insulation experience required.
- Previous Foreman, Lead Mechanic, or field leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical insulation installation and materials.
- Ability to train and develop less-experienced field employees.
- Comfortable leading crews while remaining hands-on in the field.
- Strong knowledge of jobsite safety and quality standards.
- Ability to read drawings and understand project specifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work significant overtime depending on project requirements.
