PIRTEK Des Moines is looking to hire a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer’s base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with a strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills. The right candidate s will have a background of success working in and around construction, heavy, agricultural and diesel equipment.

As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Technician, you will be operating out of a purpose-built mobile service van and be carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service truck fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

• Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base
• Build customer base through sales & service calls in the local area
• Develop relationships with potential & new customers
• Availability to be on call nights, weekends, and holidays

• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined, good communication skills, positive attitude, & self-motivated
• Experience in or with construction, earth moving, agriculture, or heavy equipment is a plus
