Position

Summary
The Maintenance Technician II maintains, repairs, and installs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and appliances systems and components and performs general maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keeps plumbing systems and fixtures in good working order.

    Complete work orders and preventative maintenance assignments promptly and professionally.
  • Performs maintenance, repairs, and installs electrical systems and components.

    Monitor safety systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Performs maintenance, repairs, and installs of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Performs maintenance, repairs, and installs appliances.
  • Performs tasks of general maintenance.
  • Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED;
    Vocational/Technical School Certification (Preferred)
  • 2-5 years of progressive maintenance experience, with at least 1-2 years in a senior living or similar residential/healthcare setting
  • Regular attendance is an essential part of this job
