JOB SUMMARY:

This full-time position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of tree culture performed within all client’s associated with Wright Outdoor Solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a wood chipper

Relay hand-signals, direct traffic, drive and operate trucks and equipment as assigned, and keep trucks and work area clear and orderly

Ensure that tasks in connection with the maintenance, pruning, trimming, transplanting, and felling of trees are executed properly

Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Work flexible hours in all weather conditions to accommodate the seasonality of the industry OTHER DUTIES:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Iowa driver’s license and a clean driving record

Prior experience operating equipment is preferred

Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment

Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and to keep project on-task, within budget and on-schedule

Must have valid First-Aid and CPR cards or be willing to obtain oneIf no prior experience, willing to learn how to properly and safely use related tools to perform essential job functions KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED:

Ability to push, pull, reach, climb, kneel, lift (up to 75 lbs.) and walk for extended periods of time Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read and complete daily paperwork

Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
