Required:
1. High School Diploma, HiSET or G.E.D.
2. Two years of experience working with K-12 age students with problem solving and conflict resolution, or in a community-based organization.
Desired:
1. Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field.
2. Fluent in a second language.
3. Experience in social work or working with At Risk youth.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
1. Ability to work flexible hours and additional hours as needed.
2. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
3. Ability to apply District code of conduct and attendance policies to daily situations.
4. Effective oral and written communication skills.
5. Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Basic Function:
Utilizes building data (such as, attendance, SEL, tardy, behavior, on track for graduation) to identify students for support. Intervenes using such strategies as restorative practices, home visits, participation in parent conferences, and referral to after-school tutoring programs and community services. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the building.
