Description
Our client seeks an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable eCommerce solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. The role requires expertise across front‑end and back‑end development, SFCC architecture, and integrations with third‑party systems to deliver seamless customer experiences. You will collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Solution Architects, and QA to build high‑performing, secure, and scalable digital commerce applications.
Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) applications.
- Build and customize SFCC storefront functionality using SFRA.
- Develop reusable front‑end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks where applicable.
- Develop server‑side functionality using Salesforce Commerce Cloud scripting including ISML, Controllers, and Models where applicable.
- Implement REST and SOAP integrations with payment providers, OMS, ERP, CRM, PIM, tax, shipping, and marketing platforms.
- Configure and customize Business Manager.
- Develop custom cartridges and extend SFCC functionality while following best practices.
- Optimize website performance, page speed, SEO, accessibility, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Create technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Collaborate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Support production deployments and release activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) development experience.
- Strong experience with SFRA architecture.
- Experience building and maintaining custom SFCC cartridges.
- Proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, ISML, Node.js, REST APIs, and JSON/XML.
- Experience with Git and modern version control practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
- Experience integrating third‑party services and APIs.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and eCommerce security standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred:
Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification. - Preferred:
Experience with OCAPI and SCAPI. - Preferred:
Integrations with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Order Management, payment gateways such as Adyen, Cybersource, Stripe, and Pay Pal, tax engines such as Avalara and Vertex, PIM solutions, and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics. - Preferred:
Experience with headless commerce architectures. - Preferred:
Familiarity with React, Next.js, or Vue.js. - Preferred:
Experience using Salesforce Developer Center and Commerce APIs. - Preferred:
Experience with monitoring tools such as Log Center, New Relic, Splunk, or Datadog. - Preferred:
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
