Software Verification Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Verification Engineer to join our team for a 9-month contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software verification and validation, particularly in the agriculture or automotive sectors. This role requires proficiency in using Polarion and the ability to perform hands-on vehicle testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on system and software requirements.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, performance, regression, boundary conditions, and both positive and negative scenarios.
• Conduct software verification and validation in compliance with industry standards.
• Analyze and interpret system and software specifications to ensure complete test coverage.
• Utilize Polarion for requirements management, test execution tracking, and issue reporting.
• Perform on-vehicle testing as required to validate software functionality and performance.

Required

Skills and Experience:

• Mandatory: Proficiency in Polarion for test management and tracking.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in software verification and validation.
• Industry Experience: Preferably agriculture; automotive experience will be considered.
• Technical Expertise: Understanding of CAN communication protocols, including J1939 and ISOBUS.
• Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with common software testing concepts such as code coverage, system integration, and software lifecycle processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
