In this role, you will serve as a key engineering team member to help advance Wellmark’s Marketing Technology ecosystem. The marketing platform leverages AWS-based services and best-in-class SaaS solutions to deliver enterprise capabilities including content management, digital asset management, customer journey personalization, customer journey analytics, and workflow management.

This role also partners closely with marketing stakeholders to shape the roadmap and evolution of the platform, championing innovation and modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality, business-driven solutions.

Based on background, skills, and abilities this role can be filled at either the Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer level. Please apply if you have the minimum experience or much more experience.

• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
• Experience working within an Agile team environment
• Proficiency in Node.js and client-side Java Script
• Full Stack Development Experience
• Knowledge of AWS services design patterns, CDK a plus
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• CI/CD and Unit Testing

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study and at least 1 year of software development experience (ex. Angular, NodeJS, Type Script, C#, etc.) OR 5+ years of related and applicable experience.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail. Previous experience troubleshooting and developing creative technical solutions.
• Strong ability to gather information, perform necessary research needed for root cause analysis, problem definition and formulation, recommend solution implementation, verification, and ongoing optimization, using data to support recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties. Ability to communicate key information in a timely manner to the appropriate stakeholder audience with the ability to adjust communication style that will best suit the audience.
• Ability to communicate with and coach/mentor team members, while setting an example in maintaining a positive attitude, staying calm under pressure, being approachable, and respectful and taking responsibility when needed.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Excellent organizational skills. Strong time management skills with the ability to set and meet established time frames with little direction, while assuring data and information integrity.
