Flex Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Logistics

Responsibilities

• This position requires the driver to travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

• Dispatch times will vary depending on work assignment
• Drivers can expect to be away from home 2 to 3 weeks per assignment
• Drivers will travel to the assigned location and work from there for the duration of the assignment

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicant must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in the state of residence
• Must hold or be able to obtain a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency as required by federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Ability to work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, and undergo background investigation and drug screening
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety; responsibility for own safety and that of others

• Must be able to see and hear; required vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; lift or move up to 50lbs (23kg) routinely and up to 100lbs (45kg) occasionally
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
