Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items.
  • Maintaining clean and safe facility environments for customers and associates.
  • Building skills through training and hands‑on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
  • Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside.
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understanding and compliance with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations established by Penske management.
  • Adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct selection and use of tools, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
  • A current driver qualification file must be maintained. This includes annual MVR checks, a completed DOT physical, and safety performance history records. CDL holders must also complete a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and undergo FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, location, complete employment application, submit to background screening (criminal checks, past employment, education), pass a drug screen and physical, and potential travel for training.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods during scheduled work.
  • Routine hand use for grasping, reaching, touching, handling, and operating tools or controls.
  • Ability to work safely at heights, using ladders and elevated platforms.
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
  • Vision and hearing sufficient to navigate the work environment amid large trucks.
  • Regular lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs (45 kg). Ability to push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 lbs is required.
Pay

$20.79 per hour

Hours

Tuesday‑Thursday: 3 pm – 11:30 pm, Friday: 9 am – 5:30 pm, Saturday: 6:30 am – 3 pm

Shift Differentials

Second shift starting after 11 am: $2.00 per hour. Third shift starting after 9 pm: $3.00 per hour.
